Bowstring Lake is located in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest and is well-known as one of Minnesota's walleye fishing hotspots. A naturally reproducing walleye lake, Bowstring offers anglers 9,220 acres of fishing paradise. Known for its large population of northern pike Bowstring Lake is often referred to as "Minnesota's Pike Hole." Bowstring Lake also offers abundant populations of perch, crappie and panfish - making it one of the best fisheries in the state.
At Bowstring Shores Resort we want you to catch fish! Our dock and mooring facilities are top-notch.
We offer gas and bait sales at the water's edge so you don't have to worry about the business of fishing getting in the way of the FUN of fishing. Do you prefer fishing through the ice?
