At Bowstring Shores Resort we think of ourselves as the perfect Minnesota vacation getaway.  Anglers can enjoy world famous fishing on Bowstring Shores and the non-fishermen in the family can enjoy the multitude of great activities available!

Kids and adults alike love our outdoor, heated swimming pool.  It is a great place to wile away the hours on a warm summer day.  Centrally located on the resort - our pool is visible from many of our cabins.  Don't feel like swimming? Our playground is a great place for kids of all ages.  Toddlers to pre-teens love our climbing equipment and sandbox while older "kids" can enjoy a game of horseshoes, volleyball, tetherball or basketball.

 

Our Lodge is a great place to escape for a few hours to play video games or a game of pool.  Our library is a good place to find a good book and a quiet place to read it or to watch a little TV.  Snacks are available at our Snack Bar where you can have some ice cream or a pizza.

 

We have regularly scheduled activities during the peak summer season free of charge to our guests.  These activities include: minnow races, Tie Dye Tuesday, campfire and marshmallow roast, crafts.  Free popcorn in the lodge all the time!

Fishermen will love fishing the "walleye rich" waters of Bowstring Lake - also known locally as "Minnesota's Pike Hole."  A naturally reproducing walleye lake, Bowstring also offers abundant populations of perch, crappie and panfish.
